When young lawyer, Aaron MacDonald, founded Pragma Lawyers in 2014, we prepared his first advertisement. It was a small 10cm by 6.6cm press ad on page 3 of the Subiaco Post! Fast-forward to 2024, and Pragma Lawyers has over 40 staff and its own offices on Rokeby Road, Subiaco. Likeable Creative has helped Pragma Lawyers build a ‘challenger’ brand position, with bold ads that openly take on the crusty old slow-moving and expensive style of legal firms who have headquarters along St Georges Tce in Perth. The strategy of being an industry disruptor has worked tremendously well for Pragma Lawyers. By offering innovations such as fixed-price mediation and outcomes-based remuneration, Aaron and his fellow directors have created a unique value proposition.Likeable Creative’s cheeky and unexpected ads have cut through the clutter of traditional law firm advertising to create a lasting impression on potential clients.
