Limestone Coast Brewing (LCB) began operations with a very niche business model. They brewed high-quality unfermented 'wort' (the early stage of beer) which was then delivered to craft brewing venues where it was finished in small tanks on premises to become craft beer. The partner venues include The Island at Elizabeth Quay, Long Neck at The Point, Gypsy Tapas House in Fremantle, and Goldfields Brewing in Southern Cross. In late 2022, LCB decided to pursue additional revenue by investing in a canning equipment to produce their own branded product. LCB also expanded the tasting counter at their Malaga premises into a licensed venue called the Tap Room. Likeable Creative designed the first series of packaging, built an e-commerce website for online can sales, and began the social media advertising to build a customer base and drive retail sales. In early 2024, Likeable Creative updated the packaging designs with eye-catching illustrations in readiness for LCB's venture into bottle shops. The brand is now stocked by Liquor Barons, Cellarbrations, and many independent bottle shops across Perth.
Likeable has managed the organic social media to build a loyal following of LCB fans. The Facebook account has grown to 2200 followers in two years, and the Instagram account has close to 1400 followers. The loyal fans recently helped vote the LCB Tap Room into the Top Three Best Pubs In Perth in a competition on Triple M. LCB has had some great success at the beer awards in 2024, winning 7 medals at the Melbourne International Beer Awards and 8 at the Perth Royal Beer Awards. On the strength of this success, LCB participated in the two craft beer festivals in Perth this year, including Froth Town at the Claremont Showground and the Fremantle BeerFest. Likeable Creative designed the exhibition stand for these events. From a business that started out as a ghost brewer in the shadows, Limestone Coast Brewing is now well-and-truly in the limelight and poised for a successful 2025.
